Chemical compounds gently restructure brow hair bonds, allowing them to be reshaped and then set into place.

A little more technical

Chemical solutions are applied to break and then reform the natural bonds in your eyebrow hairs, making them flexible enough to be reshaped and set into a new, lifted position.

The procedure involves the application of a reducing agent (e.g., ammonium thioglycolate, thioglycolic acid, or cysteamine) to break the disulfide bonds within the hair's keratin structure, rendering the hair malleable. This is followed by reshaping the hairs and then applying an oxidizing agent (neutralizer) to reform the disulfide bonds, setting the hair in its new configuration.
