Laser energy is absorbed by blood vessels, causing them to coagulate and be naturally reabsorbed by the body.
Vascular wavelengths target hemoglobin, heating unwanted vessels so they collapse and gradually clear.
The principle of selective photothermolysis is utilized, where a specific laser wavelength (e.g., 532nm, 595nm, 1064nm) is chosen to target oxyhemoglobin within blood vessels. The absorbed light energy converts to heat, causing thermal coagulation and subsequent destruction of the vessel wall, leading to its eventual resorption by the body.
