- Expect initial soreness, swelling, and fatigue for 1-2 weeks. Many return to light activity or a desk job within a week. Strenuous activities, exercise, and heavy lifting should be avoided for 4-6 weeks. Swelling will gradually resolve over several months as implants settle.
